Prof. Charlie Yang

Professor Chenguang (Charlie) Yang is an Honorary Professor with School of Computer Science and Informatics, where he held the Chair in Robotics and was leading the Robotics and Autonomous Systems group. He is a member of European Academy of Sciences and Arts, and holds fellowships of Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE), Institute of Engineering and Technology (IET), Institution of Mechanical Engineers (IMechE), Aisa-Pacific AI Association (AAIA), and British Computer Society (BCS). He is the corresponding Co-Chair of IEEE Technical Committee on Collaborative Automation for Flexible Manufacturing (CAFM). He was awarded EPSRC Innovation Fellowship (2018-21) and EU FP-7 Marie Curie International Incoming Fellowship grant (2011-13). As the lead author, he received the prestigious IEEE Transactions on Robotics Best Paper Award (2012) and IEEE Transactions on Neural Networks and Learning Systems Outstanding Paper Award (2022). He previously served as President of the Chinese Automation and Computing Society in the UK (CACSUK) and has organized several conferences as the general chair, including the 25th IEEE International Conference on Industrial Technology (ICIT) and the 27th International Conference on Automation and Computing (ICAC).

Prof. Jiankun Hu

Jiankun Hu is an IEEE Fellow, and a full professor of Cyber Security at the School of Engineering and Information Technology, the University of New South Wales at the Australian Defence Force Academy (UNSW@ADFA), Australia. His major research interest is in computer networking and computer security, especially biometric security. He has been awarded ten Australia Research Council Grants. He served as Security Symposium Co-Chair for IEEE GLOBECOM ’08 and IEEE ICC ’09. He was Program Co-Chair of the 2008 International Symposium on Computer Science and its Applications. He is serving as an Associate Editor of the following journals: Journal of Security and Communication Networks, Wiley; IEEE TIFS (Senior Area Editor); KSII TIIS (Area Editor); IET CPS; IEEE OJCS; and Wiley S&P.

Prof. Wei Gao

Wei Gao is a professor at Institute of Automation, Chinese Academy of Sciences. He currently serves as a member of multiple national standardization working groups and professional committees of academic societies. He has long been engaged in research on robot visual positioning and navigation technology. He has published more than 50 high-level papers in relevant fields and obtained over 20 authorized invention patents, boasting extensive research experience and technological achievements in intelligent perception, precise positioning, autonomous navigation and other related directions.
